In Our Bake - Daegu Cafe

 

In Our Bake is a bakery cafe located at downtwon, Dongseongro. I did not recognize this place has been here notwithstanding I have passed by this street frequently.

This street is too noisy for me to stay even for a second so guessing I was solely doing my best to leave. It seems the reason of the missing out.

White-colored wall and the blinds were, probably, hampering my consciousness too. Or maybe it has opened recently. 

A month could be said as long enough or too short. So it is even more on December. Christmas tree starts to come out since the last week of November. We all wait for the day.

The tree conquers its territory at the center for In Our Bake. It does not matter whether you are Christmas-care type or not. One time, you suddenly figure out that you are waiting for the Christmas regardless of your willingness.

As the name says, the desserts are awesome in a visible way. To be honest, I am not a big fan of sweet things. That being said, sometimes I get in the mood for them. This is why I do not visit cafes that make order for served-desserts from another manufacturers, not baking by themselves.

Manufactured ones are too sweet. People say this is what dessert is but that's not what I am supposed to say. I talk about strong artificial sweetness.

In addition, I don't want to pay money for mass-produced foods which are lack of the heart. I would gladly do for people who struggle to bake their best desserts.

they are way more worthy rather than perfect taste,  the effort, heart, and his or her time. I visited In Our Bake because it offers their owns. 

White, brown, and green. Warm-toned colors cover the inside of In Our Bake. The cafe provides enough space and seats for customers.

The white wall is reflecting sunlight that comes through the blinds, amplifying the warm atmosphere. The plants add color of nature so this place is not too urban.

Pistachio Cake

It has been a really long time to visit cafe with modern and minimal interior. I might have just passed by here because it's so-so place. I have been, obviously, a man who pursues good taste of coffee and desserts, not somewhere instagramable.

However, I have been far way from it at some point. I remember that after eating the cake because it was delicious. 

I may have high-level of my own standard, which means I cannot be satisfied with only good coffee. It is getting firm more and more as I study cafe.

It seems right for me that cafe is tracing back the value it had when it used to be coffeehaus. A space where culture and life are combining. Even so, I need to downgrade my standard at some level.
