Instagram has been showing bunch of postings
with couple of cups of espresso.
People took picture of stacked demitasse cups.

 

It was unprecedented, beyond unfamiliar for me
that people enjoy espresso which is
way more bitter than
Americano even though they avoid to take it.

 Deep Coffee Roasters made me into
espresso that I have
never ever been interested in.
Hyangchon branch is 2nd one and
headquarter is at Bongsandong.

Espresso, which I tried with throwing
caution to the winds,
tasted like the thing aforesaid.

The extract which squeezes all the flavor
and scent coffee bean contains
with oil and water.

It was not a thing like Jin Seng.

This is what I felt at Deep Coffee Roasters.

All furniture in the café is either black or white.
None of ornament and pattern on them.
Standard of minimalism interior.

Some items set on shelves and fabric poster attached on pillars.
Curtail wall allows sun light to come through.
Passengers and plants at park, over the glass wall.
People visiting here to take their own time with well dressed.
Calm and cozy music. 

They help us to escape for a while
from breathtaking and brutal city life.

 

Deep Coffee Roasters is an espresso bar
so they provide various types of espresso.

If you have never tried espresso
I would recommend Romano.

This gives you a wonderful combination between
coffee scent, lemon acidity, and sugar sweetness.

If espresso is too dense for you
you can order americano or latte.

 

Deep Coffee Roasters has
Lamarzocco LINEA Classic espresso machine.

This model has dual boiler, PID, and
saturated brew groups
which guarantee stable espresso extraction.

You will get a tasty one even if it’s crowded.

 

The seats are probably uncomfortable for you.
Two-chair seats are only at wall side.
There are big and long rectangle
or round shaped tables
except for them, so you are
necessarily sit together
with other customers.

I thought coffee was a thing of
adult in my childhood.
They drank but I was not allowed to do so.
In my teenage period, I could but
did not want as too bitter.

I literally, these days, inject coffee to myself.
Espresso is even delicious for me
who said americano is bitter.
This a few sips of amount of liquid hits my tongue
with deep and concentrated flavor and taste.

Life is not that different.
When I just blink my eyes, lot of incidents pass by.
Myself who drink coffee which was bitter before
make confusing whether I learn how coffee tastes
or just became an adult.
